Out in Germany....

Woohoo!

Just heard from my fellow Modern Heat author Nicola Marsh that I have my first book out in Germany. How exciting. The title 'Nur eine rasante Affare?' translates as (I think) 'Only a Quick Affair?' but is actually my first book Bedded by a Bad Boy (which I only know from the character names - as my German's about as good as my Dutch!).

Also, got my June copy of Romantic Times Book Reviews today and spotted a Top Pick for Trish Wylie and a four-star review for Natalie Anderson. Well, done ladies, you wrote two cracking books.

You're German congrats lol! I hope you get a copy of your book! How did you work out the translation? Do you speak German?

Do I speak German? Um, no. Although with a name like Heidi I ought to right? I just stuck the title in an online translator. Oh I do love the internet.

That's very cool!

I'm very much looking forward to seeing my books translated. But I also have an entire international student population waiting to help me translate. (One of the few perks to being a former ESL Teacher...)

Germany, cool !

I bought a book to learn German, but never had time to study it.

Do you know into how many languages are your books translated ?

Kim, having lots of willing translators will certainly help, somehow those online translators leave a bit to be desired. And yeah, it's tres exciting to see your books in other languages.

To answer your question Kar, so far I've had books translated into French, Italian, Dutch, Greek, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazilian), German and Japanese. Which is really thrilling. The Japanese one was a particular hoot as I have no clue which book it is. Expect I'll find out on my royalty statement one of these days!
