Check out the cover for my November book
Public Affair, Secretly Expecting which has just gone up on
Amazon!! I'm fanning myself here, ladies. That guy is seriously BUFF! And they've even got the Hollywood sign in the background.... Because if you don't already know my hero Mac Brody is a movie star.... And my heroine Juno does actually wear a slinky red dress at one point, although not for long, I have to admit.
Big congrats to the marketing department at M&B who have done an amazing job.
And now I've got the cover pic, it must be time to stick up a sneak peak on my website. What d'ya reckon??

Woo hoo! Very fitting! I'm so excited! Go on give us a sneak peek! :)
Woah Heidi!! I'm really feeling the love at this point. Nice, nice nice. I wanna read it now so yes please with the sneak peek. With sprinkles on top (as my daugher would say). :-)
Oh, and one question if you don't mind me asking, how did you do a movie star? Word on the street is that movie stars and arty type heroes are a no go. Or is it more a case of being all in the execution? Maybe I'll just have to read it to find out. :-)
Ooh yes please :-)
The cover looks fab.
Okay ladies, as you asked so nice, like... I'll post a peek soon.
Actually Jackie, I think I got away with doing a movie star cos I'd set him up in the previous book, and once Connor had already mentioned his brother was an actor they couldn't really nix it!!
The other question is 'why did I want to do a movie star', because frankly there's a very good reason they don't do a lot of them, and I discovered why while writing the book... It's really hard not to make them seen vain or big-headed. Luckily Mac helped with that, cos he just wasn't.
But then my first ever hero was an itinerant artist! Not particularly Presentsy either. So I think I'm a bit perverse that way!
Reckon that's one of the hottest cover spunks I've ever seen! And ditto on the request for a sneak peak!!
I LOVE your heroes Heidi because you push the Presents boundaries. Best type of heroes in my humble opinion!
Oh my, where's my fan???
'Cover spunks'!! That's an interesting term Rachel... I'm thinking it doesn't mean the same thing where you are as it does in my neck of the woods!! LOL
Hi Heidi. From a cold and wet Wales he's certainly warmed me up! Cor! I love muscular arms - they do it for me everytime! Take care. Caroline x.
Thanks for explaining that, Heidi. Very interesting.
Oh and I know what Rach means by cover spunk and no, it doesn't mean what you're thinking downunder! ;-)
